Stands hold the razor and the brush upright between shaves. That matters most for the brush, because hanging the knot down lets water drain out of the base instead of sitting in it.
Parker makes the chrome and black deluxe stands, including versions that hold several razors. Super Safety Razors makes chrome, stainless and mission style wooden stands, and Rex Supply Co. makes heavier stainless steel stands.
Check the stand fits the razor you own. Straight and barber razors need a different cradle from a double edge razor.
