Two different things live in this category. Replaceable blade barber razors, often called shavettes, take a single edge blade and need no honing or stropping. Traditional straight razors hold a permanent edge and have to be stropped and eventually honed.
Parker makes the clip type barber razors, including the SR1, SRX, SRB and SRP and the non folding Director. The Goodfellas’ Smile adds a traditional 5/8 round point straight razor and the Shibumi, a Japanese style kamisori that takes replaceable blades.
Barber razors are unforgiving of a bad angle, so most people find them easier after some safety razor practice. Blades to fit them are in the single edge and shavette blade section.

Shavette or straight razor?
A shavette takes a fresh half DE or single edge blade, so it is ready to use and hygienic for each client, which is why most barbershops use them. A traditional straight razor keeps its own edge and needs stropping and occasional honing. Eligible barber razors include 1 FREE pack of razor blades, supplied by Wish4Blades.
