The Rex Supply Co. razor stand is machined from marine grade stainless steel and holds a single double edge safety razor. It takes a razor only; there is no brush hook.

What a Stand Does
A stand keeps the razor or brush organized and allows a rinsed brush to dry in an open, ventilated position between shaves. That is the practical job it does: everything has a place, nothing is left lying on a wet counter, and the brush sits in the open air rather than on a shelf.
This stand holds razors only, with no brush hook, so it is about keeping the razors themselves organized and off a wet counter.

Getting the Best from Your Stand
- Rinse the brush thoroughly after the shave until the water runs clear, then shake the excess out before it goes on the stand.
- Hang the brush bristles down on the hook. That is the position the stand is designed for.
- Leave the stand somewhere air moves, rather than in a closed cabinet.
- Rinse and dry the razor before it goes back on the stand so that soap does not dry onto the metal.
A stand does not need to be dried after every use, but wiping the base occasionally stops water marks building up.
Care and Storage
Wipe the stand dry from time to time so that water marks and soap film do not build up. Warm water and a soft cloth are enough. Stainless steel tolerates cleaning better than a plated finish does, but an abrasive pad will still leave scratch marks in the surface.

My girlfriend gave me the Rex Konsul Slant for Christmas. Since I wasn’t able to review the Konsul, I will double up. I had tried several safety razors. In my experience, the Konsul is indescribable. The best shave I have ever experienced. The quality, the weight, the shave is superb. I can’t imagine ever buying or needing another razor. I have five razors. 3 Gillette that Razor Emporium restored. They are beautiful and they are no great for display. I was hesitant to buy the stand. It seemed a little pricey, but I could not be happier. It is beautiful, heavy, and the perfect compliment to my Konsul. It could serve as a weapon in the board game Clue. I absolutely love it. It’s a pleasure to see in my bathroom even on the days I don’t shave. Extremely happy.

This stand is very well made – very heavy weight and very attractive: It complements the high quality and beautiful craftsmanship of the Rex razors. It certainly functions well, it is very heavy and provides a solid platform for the razor. A drawback is that the “footprint” is rather large, so if you don’t have a lot of counter space, you might want to consider an alternative with a smaller base diameter.
