What This Set Does

The shavette does what a true straight razor does at the skin, with the maintenance question deleted: when the edge dulls, a new half blade restores factory sharpness in seconds. How To Load and Use

Load half of a standard double edge blade into the SR1’s blade arm. Lather with the brush, keep the skin taut with the off hand, and shave with short, shallow strokes at a low angle. Park the razor and hang the brush in the stand when done.

One hundred halves are included; when they run out, snap any standard DE blade in half inside its wrapper and you have two more.

Care and Storage

Rinse and dry the razor after each shave, hang the brush knot-down in the stand, and swap blades rather than ever sharpening.

Keep unused blades dry and stored in their original packaging. Place used blades in a sealed Razor Blade Bank or another puncture-resistant container. Never place loose blades directly in household trash.
