What This Kit Does

Travel shaving usually means giving something up: a proper brush, a proper soap or a proper razor. This kit is assembled so that none of the three has to be dropped. Because the A1R is a standard double edge razor, the blade is the one consumable, and double edge blades are sold almost everywhere and cost very little.

Who This Is Best For

Travelling With It

Pack the razor with no blade loaded and keep spare blades in their wrappers. Let the brush dry properly before it goes into the bag, since a wet brush shut in leather will stay wet.

Care and Storage

Rinse the razor and the brush after each shave and shake the water out. Let the brush dry bristles down or on its side in open air before packing it. Close the soap container only once the soap is no longer streaming with water, and wipe the leather bag with a dry cloth rather than washing it.

Keep unused blades dry and stored in their original packaging. Place used blades in a sealed Razor Blade Bank or another puncture-resistant container. Never place loose blades directly in household trash.
