Description
Product Overview
A small hand stitched cover in genuine buffalo leather that slips over the head of a double edge safety razor. Parker lists it at 2 in. by 1.5 in. and states it fits Parker, Merkur, Gillette and other double edge razors.
It exists for one reason: a bare razor head in a wash bag will scratch whatever it touches, and if a blade is still loaded it will cut a hand reaching in. The cover stops both, and it takes up almost no room doing it.

What This Cover Does
The head is the part of a safety razor that does damage in a bag. Corners catch on fabric, the top cap marks anything soft, and a loaded blade is genuinely sharp. A leather cover over the head takes all of that out of the equation without adding a hard case that has to be packed around.
It is a cover and nothing more. The razor shown in the photographs is not included.
Who This Is Best For
Head protection with almost no bulk, and no case to pack around.
Leave the cover in the bag and the razor goes straight in.
A covered head in a drawer is safer for anyone else reaching in.
Travelling With It
Pack the razor with no blade loaded wherever possible, and keep spare blades in their wrappers rather than loose in the bag.
Before travelling, check the current airline and airport-security rules for carrying razor blades.
Care and Storage
Wipe the leather with a dry cloth. Let a wet razor dry before the cover goes back on, since leather held against wet metal stays damp.

Kenneth –
I’ll be honest. For seven bucks, I really wasn’t expecting a whole lot from this small leather cover, but it’s worked superbly for its intended purpose the entire time I’ve used it.
Maybe I should start by saying that this sheath is barely big enough to cover the head of probably most DE razors with little room to spare. In the case of my Parker 87R TTO, that particular short handled razor looks a little silly sticking out of that leather rectangle, but it covers the head completely which is exactly what I wanted it to do, and it looks classy doing it.
On the flipside, the leather is soft with a pleasing grain and finish, and I don’t find it thin or “cheap” in the slightest. I have not had the dye “bleed” once in all the time I’ve used it, which is much appreciated. The edges are also tastefully dressed with no unsightly seams left visible. The black velvet liner goes a long way towards preventing scratches, but it can and WILL get nicked by your blade over time, something even the most cautious of hands cannot prevent from happening. It’s the only reason I’m dinging it a star, because I’d otherwise give it five.
There’s really only one reason you buy these, folks: You don’t want to slice your finger(s) or draw blood when reaching for your razor in your Dopp Kit. Me? I think it’s just as much at home sitting above the bathroom sink in my chrome Omega combo holder as I do in my Parker leather travel bag. And let’s face it, for $12, you can do a helluva lot worse.

picked this up because I was sick of using cheapo razors on vacation. Mach 3 head fits in there great and protects you from having a loose razor head in your travel bag. well made and durable. would buy again.
Super Dad 67 –
This is easy to use and keeps the razor blade from being dulled by other items in my overnight bag and keeps other items in my overnight bag from getting sliced by the razor blade. Win/win.
Christie –
The cover looks nice, fits my razor perfectly and most importantly it covers the blade while the razor is in the stand or inside my travel-toiletries bag.
Michael Wolford –
Fit my West Cost Shaving safety razor like a glove, nice way to bring this with me on trips without getting cut.
Kurt Stuhler –
I use this when I travel . It works great to keep the blade protected.
