What This Wash Does

Scalp shampoo is built for scalp skin and scalp hair, and a beard is neither. Face skin is thinner and beard hair is drier, so the usual result of washing a beard with ordinary shampoo is wire and itch.

A dedicated beard wash cleans at the strength face skin actually wants. Putting the conditioner in the same bottle removes the step most people skip, which is the one that keeps the beard soft enough to comb.

How To Use It

Wet the beard and moustache with warm water, apply the shampoo, rub it in gently and rinse carefully. Follow with beard oil if the beard is long or dry.

Most beards do better washed two or three times a week rather than daily, even with a gentle formula.
