While the Feather still is a great and extremely sharp blade, it is also a blade that needs the “right razor” to be “tamed”. For me the Nacet is more versatile and forgiving, meaning it works well in a larger variety of razors, but the result is similar to a Feather when it comes to efficiency. Definitely an awesome blade, especially for the price.

I am fairly new to wet shaving and have only used a handful of different blades but I am happy that I tried the Nacet. I don’t think i will ever order anything but these from now on. They are sharp enough to get a BBS shave but not so aggressive that they tear up your face like a feather. I have a tough beard and have used the same blade for 4 shaves with no problem although i usually toss it after 3. I had shaving irritation on my neck in the form of unsightly red bumps since I was a teen and started shaving with a cartridge razor, they are all gone now. I wish I would have given up the expensive cartridge razors years ago. To me these shave better than Voshkod and my skin feels slightly better post shave.

On the first shave these are slightly duller than a feather blade (widely regarded as the sharpest blade on the market) but these actually hone after the first shave and become shaper for the next shave. They seem to have better edge retention than the feather blades and offer in my opinion just as good or even a better shave. Shipping was fast too!

The Gillette Nacet double edge blades are a great alternative to the Feather blades. They are just as sharp, if not sharper, and provide a much smoother shave. These blades are a great choice for those looking for a high-quality, smooth shave. They are also reasonably priced, making them a great value for the quality they provide. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Gillette Nacet blades to anyone looking for a great shaving experience. I just bought another 100 blades to keep in the emergency reserve. That being said, YMMV but from my research, most people enjoy this blade.

I was waiting to use them for a week before I reviewed. I bought a Rockwell butterfly razor which came with a pack of 5 blades. Those weren’t very sharp wore out quick. These blades are much better. Less cuts since I switched to these Gillette. It might be a combination of better blades and my skin getting used to a “new way” of shaving. I recommend them.

I use to shave with feather and I compare that to the saying FAFO. If you’re not perfectly prepped you’re going to find out. These blades give the right balance of sharp and comfort. I’m able to shave first thing in the morning tired with out bleeding. So if you use these everyday give them a go. Massive improvement to my shave routine.

I use these blades for my mid-aggression safety razors. They work great in my Razorock Gamechanger .84, my Muhle Rocca and my Rockwell 6S. IMO, they’re just a notch below Feather blades in sharpness.
Feather blades are too aggressive for me in the razors I mentioned above, while these blades are the perfect combo of sharpness and smoothness.
I shave with 2 razors, I use my Razorock Gamechanger .84 loaded w/a Nacet for with & across the grain on my face & neck, also for head shaves, then I use an acrylic-handled Muhle or Gillette Heritage load (they have the same cap & plate, or shaving head), loaded w/ a corked Feather blade for against the grain on my face & neck, also for shaving my ears.
These razors loaded with these blades give me a nice, smooth shave with little to no cuts or irritation. I get 3 solid shaves per blade on my face & head before performance starts to degrade. These Nacets and Feathers are the only blades I use anymore, so, in summary, I highly recommend these blades if Feathers a little too sharp for you.

Started wet shaving about two and a half years ago. Initially bought Astra blades, then Vokhsod, and later on got some of these Nacets. Of the three brands mentioned, the Nacet’s are easily the most comfortable to shave with and do a very good job of NOT nicking me, especially with a fresh blade. bought 100 blades about 8 months ago and have gone through 20 of the initial 100, never using a single blade for more than four shaves. this is package #2 for me, so I have about Nacet 175 blades left.. with any luck they’ll last me until i’m nearly 50 years old (43 now)!

I’ve been using Gillette Silver blues and Yellow 7 O’clock sharp edge for the past few years, and like them. Needing more blades, I ordered more of these and went to order some Yellow 7 O’clock sharp edge because I had run out of the ones I had 2-3 years ago. Bad, bad decision on my part…. I should have just bought a second hundred of Gillette blues….they’ll stay sharp forever, and now I’ve got to find some fish who wants these Yellow 7 O’clock Sharp Edge blades. The problem with some of these Gillette blades is the quality is not consistent. You can find some great blades one year, then come back a year later and what was once great has turned to trash. Heart ache, heart break – now you need to find another brand that is going through an uptick in their quality. Some blades are consistently sharp, but very hard to work with. Ah well….life goes on.

These are the best I’ve used to date. They are a little better than the Gillette Platinum, a whole lot better than Astra Platinum. These last longer and remain sharper longer than their Gillette Platinum cousins. I’m currently using them with a Viking Chieftan 5 C.

I absolutely love these blades! I have very sensitive skin with course beard and the Nacet blades do an amazing job without any tugging, pulling or nicks. I use them for every 2-3 day facial hair growth and usually run a blade 4 times before I open a new one. Overall my go to blade for any safety razor!

I would highly recommend that anyone new to DE razors try a sampler pack of blades. There is a real difference and you need to find the one that is best for your facial hair and skin type. For me the Stainless Steel Nacet is the best. I was very surprised to find them superior to their platinum cousins. They are long lasting too. If you buy them in large quantities you can get them for about 50 cents a blade.
Make sure you pair this with a high quality shaving soap (there are many good ones available on Amazon but the British really do make superior products like Geo F Trumper, Taylor of Old Bond Street, Truffit and Hill, or Edwin Jagger) for an exceptionally comfortable shave.
Indiana DIY –
These Blades may not work for everyone. I have sensitive skin and coarse facial hair these are the best blades I have found besides other stainless steel blades the green Gillette Razor Blades.
I feel these blades provide a good sharp cut to the facial hair but have a smooth glide across my skin. I have previously tried some other more popular Gillette razor blades and between these blades and the Green & Yellow, 7 O Clock blades its kind of tie between these.
I buy Stainless blades as a general rule because of sharpness, and I usually don’t by platinum coated blades often Unless I have tried a sample pack. And I never Buy PTFE or Teflon Coated blades due to health concerns!!!!.

Very sharp, especially after the first shave. No nicks, very very smooth. These last 5 to 7 shaves reliably. My favorite blade by far, and I have tried many including Feather, Astra, Personna, Parker, other Gillettes, and many others. But your face may vary.
