What This Cream Does

Canned foam is mostly air, and air does not lubricate. A proper shaving cream is denser: it holds water against the skin and gives the blade a cushion, which is where shave comfort actually comes from.

This one activates with warm water and can be applied with the fingers or a brush. GROOM notes that sensitive skin benefits from its Shaving Oil applied underneath, the same pairing it recommends across the shaving range.

How To Use It

Work a small amount into a lather with warm water, using fingers, a brush or a bowl, and apply against the grain so the hair stands up into the lather. Rinse the cap clean before closing.

Sensitive skin does better with GROOM’s Shaving Oil applied first, which is GROOM’s own recommendation.

Care and Storage

Close the tube after use and keep it somewhere cool and out of direct sun.
