What This Soap Does
A shaving soap has one job: hold enough water in a stable lather that the razor glides instead of scraping. Soft soaps trade a little longevity for much easier loading, which is why the Italian barber tradition settled on them.
GROOM builds this one on shea and cocoa butter, so what is left on the skin after the pass is fat rather than squeak. For sensitive skin, GROOM recommends applying its Shaving Oil before the soap for extra protection.

How To Use It
Swirl a damp shaving brush on the surface of the soap until it is loaded, then build the lather in a bowl, a mug or directly on the face. Rinse the tub edge and let it dry open before closing.
Sensitive skin does better with GROOM’s Shaving Oil applied first, which is GROOM’s own recommendation for this soap.
Care and Storage
Let the surface of the soap dry before closing the tub, and keep it out of standing water. Stored dry, a tub lasts months of regular shaves.
