Predictable, long lasting, good quality razor blades.

I hope everyone gives this premium razor blade a tepid review. Then maybe the price will stay this rediculously low. I read the reviews and was reluctant to buy these. I was particularly baffled when I read the review about these blades are like a good wife,”sharp when they need to be but dull when they need to be”. After buying and using them, it somehow really makes sense. These blades are not so sharp that they easily cut you but they simply give a very close shave without deep cuts or nasty irritation. I loved them so much, I quickly ordered another 100! I have tried many blades and they are all a bit different if not a lot different. These are a great everyday blade and the most under rated that I’ve tried so far. I like Sharks because they are sharp but not too sharp and also don’t hack my face apart. These give even less irritation. Just to put things in perspective, my favorite blades are: Voskhod, Astra SP, and now Rapira Super Stainless. To me, Derby is the most over rated blade, just terrible. Persona causes cuts easily and Treet Black Beauty’s are decent, not extremely sharp but smooth and forgiving. If these work for you, you will love them. My new favorite.

These have been one of my go too double edeged razors blades. Better than most of the more available razors made in the USA, India, and England. (Too many brands to list). They are better because:
1. Pricing. Great value.
2. Longevity. I have thicker facial hair and some other brands I have to use two new blades to shave. With these I can comfortably get 4 days.
3. No rust. This isn’t really a big deal, most blades don’t rust.
4. Boxes open easily. It’s a simpler box than most. It’s hard to explain. Some of the other brands have one side glued shut, or tabs that are confusing.

I find the Rapira Stainless to be sharp, smooth, and long lasting – not the sharpest, and not the smoothest, but a good and versatile blade that I find myself falling back on. I even prefer it to other Rapira blades like the Platinum and Swedish.
Blades are highly subjective, but these work well for my face in every razor I’ve tried them in, especially my Lord L6.

This is a nice sharp blade that provides a very close, very smooth shave in both my Weber Razor Classic PH and Razorock Jaws OC. It also has average to slightly above average longevity which is good.
For $10 total including shipping this really was a bargain Russian blade. For $18+ which is what I see it is now it’s a fair price for the quality but I’d go with the Rapira Platinum Lux or Voskhod both of which are available on Amazon for slightly less than $18 and are Rapira’s higher end blades.
For those with a strong preference for clean stainless steel blades like Astra SS which tend to be “sharper” these Rapira Super Stainless are a good choice.
For those who prefer coated blades like Astra SP which tend to be “smoother” you will probably be happier with the Rapira Platinum Lux or Voskhod instead.

Got these for an uncle with course facial hair. He says these are great.
