The razor is a genuine brass frame, chrome and rose gold electroplated, 4.4 inches long at 2.9 oz. with a highly textured handle for wet grip. The brush knot is 21 mm of premium synthetic, extremely soft in Parker’s words and quick drying. The soap is Taconic’s mild and soothing lavender, handmade in upstate New York.

What This Set Does

This is the full traditional method with nothing missing: one blade in a weighted razor, a lather built with a real brush from a hard soap, and enough blades included to learn on. The butterfly head keeps the one fiddly part, blade changes, down to a twist.

How To Load and Use

Twist the knob at the base of the handle and the butterfly doors open; set a double edge blade flat on the head, close the doors, and shave with light pressure at around 30 degrees. Lather first: soak the brush, shake out the excess, load it on the soap puck in circles, and build the lather on the skin.

Each Parker blade is double edged. Flip or replace as it dulls; ten blades will cover the first months of shaving.

Care and Storage

Rinse the razor and brush after each shave. Hang the brush knot-down in its stand, let the soap puck dry uncovered, and dry the razor before it goes back on the shelf.

Keep unused blades dry and stored in their original packaging. Place used blades in a sealed Razor Blade Bank or another puncture-resistant container. Never place loose blades directly in household trash.
