Description
Product Overview
Dominus is a heavy double-edge safety razor, CNC machined in Italy from chrome-plated brass and finished in polished chrome. At 100.8 g it has genuine mass, and mass is the point of a razor like this: it supplies its own pressure, so you guide it down the face rather than push it. Pushing is what causes most nicks and razor burn.
The blade geometry places it in the middle of the range. It clears stubble efficiently without being punishing, so it suits daily shaving once you have the angle, and it rewards a light hand rather than a firm one. The handle carries three bands of deep diamond knurling between polished rings, which is what keeps it under control once your hands are wet and soapy.

Compatibility
Dominus uses standard double-edge razor blades. Every double-edge blade made anywhere in the world is the same size and fits the same posts, so Feather, Astra, Derby, Personna, Gillette, Wilkinson and the rest all work in it.
It does not take cartridges, injector blades or single-edge blades. Blade choice changes the shave more than the razor does, so once the included pack runs out a sampler is the cheapest way to find the blade that suits your face.
Who It’s For
Efficient enough to clear stubble in fewer passes, without demanding perfect technique.
100.8 g of chrome-plated brass, guided down the face rather than pressed into it.
Deep diamond knurling helps maintain grip when the handle is wet.
How to Load and Use
Unscrew the handle, seat a fresh double-edge blade over the posts on the base plate, replace the cap and tighten until firm but not forced. Overtightening bows the blade and changes how it cuts.
Shave in short strokes at roughly thirty degrees to the skin, letting the weight of the razor set the pressure, and rinse the head clear between passes. If you are new to double-edge shaving, start with a mild blade in a razor of this weight and work up.
Care and Safe Disposal
Rinse the head under hot water after every shave, shake the water off and stand the razor to dry with the blade loosened or removed. Water left sitting in a closed head is what dulls a blade early. The chrome plating needs no polish beyond drying it.
Keep unused blades dry and stored in their original packaging. Place used blades in a sealed Razor Blade Bank or another puncture-resistant container. Never place loose blades directly in household trash.
