Product Overview
Voskhod double edge safety razor blades are the classic red-and-blue Russian tuck, a long-time favourite in traditional wet shaving. Made in Russia from stainless steel with a PTFE (Teflon) coated edge, they are designed to glide easily for a smooth, comfortable shave.
Each tuck contains 5 individually wrapped blades. Choose from 1, 5 or 20 packs to suit how you shave and how often you change blades.
Blade Characteristics
- ✓ Sharpness: often described by shavers as a mild-to-medium blade with a smooth feel
- ✓ Smoothness: the PTFE (Teflon) coated edge is designed to glide easily across the skin
- ✓ Longevity: maintains its edge over multiple shaves, depending on beard type and technique
- ✓ Character: the classic red-and-blue Russian tuck, a wet-shaving community favourite
Blade sharpness, smoothness and comfort are subjective. Results vary depending on your razor, beard, skin, preparation and shaving technique.

These razors are a very good choice. They do the job very well when first used and provide about four or five good shaves.
However, I don’t understand why they are not supposed to be wiped off while cleaning off excess shaving cream. Otherwise,
they are well packaged.
Mcbuyer –
good blade for sensitive skin. I can get 3 to 4 comfortable shaves each blade. Steller price
George805 –
Love these blades. No nicks, and the seller sent them WAY ahead of schedule. Great value.

I’ve been shaving for over 50 years, and have used those multi blade cartridge razors for years….not anymore! I’ve now got 8-9 DE Razors in my shave den, and this blade works great in every one of them! It is incredibly smooth, 2, maybe 3 pass shave and absolutely no irritation, razor burn…and the price, sure beats those multi blade cartridge razor blades…hands down, less than a buck a blade! I can easily get 2 weeks of shaves from this blade….but at this price, why bother?!? I put a new blade in my go-to razor, Edwin Jagger 3ONE6 and I’m good for the week.
I use a lot of different blades (Gillette; Astra; Personna; Wilkinson Sword, to name a few) But I always seem to go back to these blades made in Russia. Pick up a pack of 5 blades and give ’em a try, you’re not going to be disappointed!

Very smooth conformal shave

Russia, the same place we can thank for providing us with all the titanium we needed to build the SR-71 that we then used to spy on them with have also given us the best razor blades. Fantastically sharp blades, good longevity and priced better than most. These are my preferred blades.

Purchased. Tried, not too sharp ,good smoothness but I did have some irritation.

These are fantastic blades, Russian made, Teflon coated. I initially bought a sampler pack that had a couple of these blades in the pack. They far outperformed all the others, no razor burn or nicks. I threw the rest away, and bought a shipment of 7 boxes of these blades (5 per box).
And I’m using them in my father-in-law’s 50 year old double edge razor! The first blade gave me four solid shaves, and I even squeezed out a fifth shave from it. Works out to about 3 cents per shave! Are you kidding me! Crazy good! Get them, you won’t regret it!

These are the only blades my hubby tells me to buy. So I’m assuming they’re great. 🙂
JM –
These are the best blades I have ever tried. I have a extremely coarse beard. These blades give extremely close and comfortable shave
Mark –
What ever the coating is on the blade it’s great. The blade stays sharp for me but everyone is different you must try to see if they work for you
James Rabdolph –
With the escalating price of Pol-Silver blades, which in my opinion are still the best for sensitive skin, these are a really nice alternative. They are almost as smooth and WAY, WAY less in cost. Until the over-inflated price of Pol-Silver’s goes down, I’ll be buying these Voskhod blades.

These blades aren’t the sharpest on the market, but they definitely get the job done. They may seem dull the first time you use them, possibly because of the coating that comes on them, but they shave well and aren’t too expensive.
Mohamed –
Good blades!

Good product.

On my sensitive skin, this is a very smooth and comfortable blade while still being efficient. Shaves are forgiving, with no irritation or razor burn, even on delicate areas like the neck.
Its main drawback today is availability: following the sanctions against Russia, prices have increased and the blade has become harder to find. Wish4blades remains one of the few sites where it is still available at a reasonable price.
