Sea Citrus is built on an ozone note, which is the accord perfumers use for sea air. Lemon and apple sit over it, a soft floral heart follows, and it settles onto woods, amber, patchouli and tonka bean.

It comes in a 100 ml glass bottle with a screw cap and no atomizer. The Sea Citrus scent also runs through other products in the same range, including a hair wax, if you want it beyond the shave. Made in Italy.

What This Aftershave Does

An alcohol splash is the oldest post-shave finish there is. It goes on cold, it stings for a few seconds on freshly shaved skin, and then it dries away and leaves the scent behind. That short bracing hit is the whole point, and it is why some shavers will use nothing else.

The ozone note is what keeps this from being just another lemon splash. It gives the citrus somewhere to sit rather than letting it vanish on its own.

Who This Is Best For

How To Use It

Rinse with cool water and pat the face dry after shaving, then pour a small amount into the palms, rub them together and press it onto the face and neck. Do not rub it in hard, and keep it away from the eyes.

On freshly shaved skin an alcohol splash will sting briefly. If that is too much, put a few drops of water in your palms first to dilute it.

Care and Storage

Keep the bottle closed and out of direct sunlight. Alcohol is volatile and strong light is hard on fragrance, so a cupboard is better than a sunny windowsill. For external use only. Stop using it if the skin reacts.
