Three Piece Design and Blade Changes

A three piece razor comes apart into three separate components: the handle, the top cap and the base plate. Unscrewing the handle releases the top cap, the blade sits between the top cap and the base plate, and screwing the handle back on clamps the assembly together.

Because every part separates, the head can be rinsed thoroughly and dried, and there is no hinge or spring mechanism inside the head to wear or seize.

Getting the Best from Your Razor

Care and Storage

Dry the razor and leave it where air can reach it rather than in a closed cabinet or a sealed travel tube.

Stainless steel does not stain or patina, but the handle threads and the underside of the top cap still need rinsing so that soap does not build up. The nylon washer in the handle stays in place and does not need removing to rinse the razor.

Keep unused blades dry and stored in their original packaging. Place used blades in a sealed Razor Blade Bank or another puncture-resistant container. Never place loose blades directly in household trash.
