Product Overview
The Parker Olivewood Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush and Stand sets a 22 mm long loft silvertip badger knot into a handmade olivewood handle and is supplied with an acrylic stand in a gift box.
Olivewood is a dense hardwood with a strong figured grain, so no two handles look the same. The long loft on a 22 mm knot gives the soft tips room to splay over the soap, which makes the brush easy to load and generous with lather.

Lathering Performance
Silvertip badger carries more water than the other badger grades and has the softest natural tips, so it builds a rich lather quickly and feels gentle on the face. The long loft on this 22 mm knot gives the tips room to splay over the soap, so the brush loads easily and releases lather steadily through a multi pass shave.
Who This Brush Is Best For
A 22 mm long loft knot holds enough lather for several passes.
Each olivewood handle carries its own grain pattern.
The brush arrives in a gift box with its stand.
Getting the Best from Your Brush
- Soak the knot in warm water for a minute or two before you start, then shake out the excess.
- Load the brush by working it over the soap or cream until the hair is fully charged.
- Build the lather in a bowl or on the face, adding water a little at a time until it turns glossy.
- Give a new brush several shaves to break in before judging how it loads and how soft it feels.
Adding water gradually rather than all at once is the usual difference between a thin lather and a thick one.
Care and Storage
Rinse the knot thoroughly under warm running water after every shave until the water runs clear, then shake out the excess and stand the brush bristles down so it can dry. Avoid boiling water, harsh detergents and leaving the brush sitting wet in an enclosed space. Do not stand the brush on its knot to dry. The acrylic stand holds the brush knot down between shaves so water drains away from the base of the knot. Dry the olivewood handle as well rather than leaving it standing in water.

Leaffan –
Wonderful brush. Beautiful construction. I love the olive wood and chrome base. Just the perfect weight and balance.
The bristles are the best you can get…badger silvertip. Hold the perfect amount of water and just the right balance between softness and sturdiness. I love this brush!
Jehan Belinge –
A very well made Badger brush! The nut is dense, well shaped and produces good head of foam with excellent water retention. The heavily weighted barrel shaped handle is comfortable. The Silver Tip hair is also of good quality and provides just the necessary firmness. In summary it compares favorably with much more expensive German and British Silver Tip brushes and its quality to price ratio makes it hard to beat. The included extruded plastic stand is not very stable and on the small side . Shipping was prompt and packaging adequate.

Got it as a gift for my husband. He’s been using it for a month now. He says it’s very soft and comfortable to use.

I switched from aerosol cans for shaving to shaving soap about a decade ago. For the last four years, I have been shaving not only my face, but my head, too. Until I purchased this brush a few weeks ago, I was still using the first brush I purchased way back then — a $7 synthetic Wilkinson Sword. I regret all of the wasted years that I could have been using this beauty. Shaves are much more luxurious now, as you would expect from a brush with this reputation and quality. It probably didn’t hurt that I switched from Proraso soap to Taylor of Old Bond Street. These two make a powerful combination. Life is too short for a lousy shave. Make the switch now!

This is a great brush. The hairs are very soft, and I don’t think it has lost a single hair since I got it. There’s no offensive smell (which seems to be a common complaint of some natural-hair shaving brushes). If I lost this brush today, I would hit the purchase again link without any hesitation.
