Product Overview
North is a traditional cold-process bar from GROOM built around local Quebec ingredients, with a fresh fir and juniper scent and a grey-blue colour that comes from Manicouagan clay harvested near Baie-Comeau.
Ground blueberry, left over from juice production at Délices du Lac in Lac-Saint-Jean, gives the bar structure and texture, and the label describes it as washing with a mild exfoliant. Cold saponification keeps the bar naturally rich in glycerin, and it is superfatted with shea butter for a gentle, moisturizing wash.
What is in the bar
Coconut, olive, hemp seed and castor oils form the base, with cocoa butter and shea butter. The scent comes from essential oils including Scots pine, juniper, cypress, lime, copaiba balsam and lavender. GROOM labels the fragrance as natural.
