What This Moisturizer Does

Skin that shines by mid-afternoon is usually skin that is both oily and under-moisturized: stripped by washing, it overproduces sebum in response. A mattifying moisturizer breaks the loop by hydrating properly while absorbing the shine.

This is the second half of GROOM’s daily face routine: wash with the Purifying Face Wash, moisturize with this. The mattifying makes it the sensible default for combination and oily skin, and for anyone photographed under office lighting.
