This is the deep-cleaning step of GROOM’s face range: a mask rather than a wash, applied once or twice a week and left to work. Three actives divide the job between them.

Manicouagan clay, from Quebec, binds to embedded impurities and lifts them away as the mask dries. Activated charcoal absorbs and helps balance sebum production. Willow bark extract acts as an astringent, tightening enlarged pores for a smoother appearance. GROOM points it especially at the T-zone. 60 ml.

What This Mask Does

A wash cleans what sits on the surface. What sits in the pores needs contact time, which is the whole idea of a clay mask: as the clay dries it binds to embedded impurities and pulls them out with it when rinsed.

GROOM’s version pairs the clay with activated charcoal for absorption and willow bark for astringency, so the pores are emptied, the sebum rebalanced and the openings tightened in one sitting. The forehead, nose and chin get the most from it.

How To Use It

Apply a layer to the desired area once or twice a week, leave it on for a few minutes, ideally 5 to 10, then rinse off. Follow with the Mattifying Face Moisturizer.
