What This Wash Does
A beard collects the day: food, dust, city air and its own trapped skin oil. Washing it with nothing leaves that in place; washing it with scalp shampoo strips the little oil beard hair has. A dedicated wash cleans at the strength beard and face skin actually want.
The cooling menthol effect does double duty, calming the itch that a growing beard produces on the skin underneath. Two or three washes a week is the usual rhythm, with the Beard Conditioner or oil following on.

How To Use It
Wet the beard, work a small amount through to the skin, lather and rinse thoroughly. Follow with the Beard Conditioner, oil or balm. Most beards want washing two or three times a week rather than daily.
The cooling effect is from menthol in the formula and fades in a minute or two; it is the sign the wash has reached the skin.
Care and Storage
Close the bottle after use and store it upright in the shower or on a shelf out of direct sun.
