Poor Boy Muzzleloaders –
I bought these blades for my straight razor shavete. They are by far the best I have found! I put one in and started using them right away on January 27th!! I shave every other day and just changed the blade! Not because it was dull or pulling but because I figured it was time! Wow 2 months of shaving!!! The 100 blades in the package will last me for a long time since I only use half at a time, that’s 200 blades! Even if each lasts one months, that’s 16 years worth of blades! I’m impressed!!

I am a fan of these blades so far. I have used a safety razor for decades. With the advent of shaving clubs, which I am not a fan of, these blades have become difficult to find in your local stores. This is great value for the number of blades you get and the quality. Definitely recommend these at this time.

I insert these in a Merkur safety razor to shave my head, neck, face, pits, puss, & chest. They do tend to rust after a while, but maintains sharpness. The center of the blade rusts & not the edge. Store the unused blades in a dry sealed airtight container to reduce rust. Edge maintains sharpness despite rust. No shaving cuts when skin is lathered properly & used with long smooth gliding strokes. Rotate the blade appropriately & dispose when all 4 sides are worn. Mileage per blade depends on the razor, blade angle–bend within razor, your patience, differences in prep, lubrication, level of skin contact, and skin type. Experiment with sides of the blade & number of uses until sharpness depreciates. Rinse/rotate the razor during use to get more coverage.
One 100 pack Dorco ST300 Platinum Extra Double Edge will last me approximately 24 to 30 months with daily use. Your usage can vary.

These aren’t the best steel, and don’t retain the best edge. Maybe that’s how they all are, because it’s so thin, but I would think a quality blade is gonna retain it’s edges a bit better. I use it for basically single use. I’ll use it many times within that timeframe, but I don’t want to have to keep these thin things around, and end up with dull blades. I use them for plant cuttings, and pruning of soft tissues. The thin steel makes very clean cuts. I brake them at the seam, put a little bend. In them,. And wrap a piece of the wrapper around one edge. After so many cuts I’ll flip it. Then switch to the other half.
Anyway. If this was for my face, I might have a different review, but for what it is, this is great.

These are the only blades I’ve been able to use for more than 1 shave. Each is good for 3-4 shaves for me, compared to single use on Feather, Astra, Personna, and other name brands. They are also very comfortable for me. I have a heavy beard and thin skin, so razor blade choice is essential.

I think these are good. They may not work for every man, but they do for me. I will buy again.
Kwang Nam –
I have used all sorts of different brands of safety razors and this product is one of the sharpest giving me a smooth shave. It’s also the cheapest! I will try few more and will update if I find any duds.
Happy customer –
This is one of the best deals out there you can find on razor blades. The safety blades are just as good as anything I’ve ever purchased and you can use them multiple times if you so choose. They seem to do the job well and was much better than blades that cost almost a hundred times the price.
