Yes, I really like Cella Artisan products, my favorite as you can see. I have tried and liked many others but this Rapid Creame / I say Gel as well is superb. Like others have said and in the description do not use brush this is not soap, but same great smell as cake or jar soap little different as would expect, not same makeup as the soap since as I mentioned cream / gel. Let me explain this has some properties of the pre shave gel that I normally use before the “brush” in soap so that’s why it to me is a Speedy shave or Travel product since won’t have to pack soap & brush. Yes I found best to wet face or after shower leave damp and message in, then like soap go one direction to kinda work up the soap part. I know this this sounds strange but it works! Shave away and get that baby smooth skin. I don’t know how these folks do this but 100 years experience say’s something. No I don’t get paid by (Chell Ah) but anytime they wanna send me some stuff to try I’m your guinea pig!!

I’m not sure why people are so hung up on heavy lather, this stuff is great and provides plenty of glide for your razor. It goes on almost clear and works like a champ. It’s my new favorite travel soap, I’ll still be using my Cella bowl and brush at home….no need to look at any other shave soaps!

I thought this was a shave cream version of their soap, but found it was a completely different product. It is a cream which you apply to your face with your hands. Using a shave brush is not very effective. Unlike standard shaving soap, this does not lather. The cream has a super oily texture which provides the slickness. Downside for me is I use a Merkur 34c safety razor and do multiple passes, so multiple application with my hands …messy. Upside for me is I have used it and found it to be actually very effective, the slickness is great (oily rather then soapy) and my razor glides just fine. Its probably suited for a quick one pass shave. I will likely use it as a preshave in the future as it is very slick, and I think it will do the trick. 4 stars for this, only losing one star because I’m a DE razor person who does multiple passes. The fragrance not so much by the way. Finally I think its fit for purpose, does exactly what it promises

When prioritizing speed for shaving, going with this brushless prep is hard to beat. I use this after showering and only a small pea sized amount is needed (more depending on your stubble level). Usually can get away with just a one or two pass shave in less than 3 minutes.
