What This Balm Does
A blade takes the top of the skin along with the hair. That is why a shaved face stings, tightens and reddens. A balm puts moisture and fat straight back in before the skin has a chance to dry out and complain.
Cella makes both finishes, and they are genuinely different products. This balm is alcohol-free and built around shea butter. Cella’s aftershave lotion is not alcohol-free: Cella describes it as having a touch of alcohol. Dry or reactive skin generally wants this one.

How To Use It

This is a very light after shave balm that is quickly absorbed by the skin. The scent is light with a citrus note to it, does not linger. A little goes a long way and leaves your skin feeling soft and refreshed. This compliments the Cella shave soap perfectly even though this has a citrus scent to it. I always look forward to a Cella shave in my shave product rotation. Another great Cella product, highly recommend.

This is for all the “Red” Cella products. I like the smell of the Soap, just as others have described, Amaretto (Almond) and Cherry. Works up good lather 12 or so swirls on my brush then a bit of water in the mug nice and thick. I highly recommend starting with the Cella pre shave, different smell from soap rather nice, excellent lubricating (slick), then the soap, finishing with Cella shave balm, the Balm again different smell from others but reminds me of some of my favorite Italian colognes and balms like Bulgari , but 1/3 the price. If you want to shave proper and want less nicks or weepers use this now! Really cannot say enough but enjoy!!
