half blades works out at about 5p each, compare that with a Gillette or Wilkinson. Extremely sharp so be careful when inserting into razor (bad enough if you cut your face when shaving, but to cut your fingers too is just careless. The blades come in a small, simple cardboard box, as in the product photo, which probably helps costs.

The razors are sharp and performs nicely. Durable and last long for personal use. But when I cut hair I switch out every cut and they are great. And for the money you can’t go wrong.

I have just gone over to my first replaceable blade razor, my old ‘cut throat’ is now history. I bought a Markhor (see review) which due to Amazon’s blade policy (which I support), has no blades. So this brought about the purchase of these.
100 blades for this price – must be mad. They are very light, insanely sharp and ridiculously easy to fit. In fact the precision fit in the Markhor is the best shave I’ve ever given myself.
You don’t have to break them in half, each one is safely wrapped which makes fitting very safe and simple.
Pefect blade, perfect price – what more do you want.

I’ve been a Mach3 user for the past few years, so am not entirely convinced by these blades. However, they ARE incredibly sharp as you can see in my photo (Ouch).
I’m new to cut-throat razors so my technique will need several weeks of honing to give an honest opinion.
Derby blades are easy to fit, lightweight, cheap and I’ll say it again – they’re very sharp.

I only use this for one shave then put a new blade in. I have had very good luck with both double edge and single edge Derby blades. Very good value. You can get more shaves if you want per blade but I prefer to use it once and then toss it out.
