Nice looking razor and works great. It took a little bit of getting used too since this was my first safety razor, but it fits nicely in your hand for a secure feeling and has a nice weight to it.

I like this razor it has a good feel but the handle cracked in my suitcase on my first trip away. It looks solid but is just some kind of plastic (not “ebony” as described but “ebony coloured”).
I also notice the blades don’t last as long as modern blades. But they are cheap as anything so I believe I’m saving money.
Also when I first bought this razor the head did not fit right but it turned out I had assembled it backwards. Once I put it on the right way it was fine.

Has a great feel and heft to it missing in plastic razors and just feels right in your hand. It gives a very aggressive shave as compared to newer razors and even other safety razors I have used. Did not come with any blades so can not comment on them.
